The "Difficult Second Album"

Well, we've reached that time again .. time to take our happy-go-rocky gig heads off and, Worzel Gummage-style, don the collection of thinking heads that we use when attempting to be creative. Which is a really long winded way for saying that its time to stop procrastinating and get on with recording the second album, which at the moment has a 90% certainty to being called Theatre Of War (8% likelihood of being called "Ginger Stepchild And The 'I Don't Want Ones'" and only 2% chance of "Paedo Speedo".)
There's a 76% chance of it being a big step forward from the last, an 84% chance that it it will really surprise a lot of people, 64% chance that those of you who live for 80s hair metal will hate it (hopefully this will go up to nearer 70%) and a mere 16% likelihood that it will be released when we say it will. But that's enough statistics for now.

We have some choices to make though as we have about 18 song ideas so its a case of whittling them down to an album's worth, which will almost certainly mean some ruffled feathers. We have 5 tracks at the moment which we have already been playing live; "Theatre Of War", "Moon On The River", "Say Goodbye", "Retribution"and "Into The Light". We're also hoping to obtain a license to put a cover on there (don't want to give anything away by saying what at this stage, but if you've seen us live in the last year you may have an inkling.

With no Drew or Lyndon this week we spent time reworking the groove for a "Cold Light Of Day" - its looking like groove will play a big part in this record. Which is nice.

Anyway, here are pretty images. Look, love, collect.
